"This image comes from the series ‘a soft breath’. In this series, I depict the landscape of my subconscious. What triggers me? When do I feel ‘it’? It is not about a clear statement, but about a whisper, a mood. Just that small moment in which something briefly reveals itself. A glance, a touch, a word, a movement, an exhalation."
 
Vivian Keulards has been a photographer for 17 years and has developed into a multidisciplinary maker. Through image, text, and art, she tells stories that shed new light on diverse and often taboo-sensitive subjects. She makes the human inner world visible. Her work has been published, exhibited, acquired, and won awards internationally. She also has two photobooks to her name.
