ABOUT FOTOGRAFIEVOORGOED 2024 /

Photography for Good supports charities through the sale of photo prints, but also promotes Dutch photography talent. This time we are raising money for Save the Children – the world's largest independent children's rights organization. They have one goal: to create irreversible change for and with children. Read more about the organization at www.savethechildren.nl

This promotion runs until March 31, 2024.

All photo prints cost €125,- incl. shipping costs within the Netherlands and are printed in giclée form by our partner, fine art print specialist Fotolab Kiekie, on Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl paper, size 30 cm on the long side, without white border. All photo prints are delivered unsigned, without certificate, and are available in unlimited editions as long as the promotion runs.

Proceeds

From every photo print sold the entire proceeds go to Save the Children. This amounts to €65 to €90 per photo, depending on the photographer's compensation. This may differ per photo - that is determined by the individual photographer. Some photographers donate their photos, others charge a minimal fee.

So, by purchasing a beautiful photo print from a Dutch photographer, you support the Save the Children organization and their important humanitarian work. And at the same time you support Dutch photography talent!

Fotolab Kiekie

All photo prints are giclée printed by our partner Fotolab Kiekie, a Hahnemühle Certified Studio for Fine Art Printing in Amsterdam.

When can I expect my order?

The photo prints printed & sent every two weeks. Fotolab Kiekie will print and ship at the beginning and middle of each month.

ABOUT US

How it started

In the spring of 2022, the Photography for Ukraine campaign raised €97,545 for Giro555. This action was an initiative of Caspar Claasen, in collaboration with Fotolab Kiekie. But of course there are often conflicts or natural disasters where help is just as desperately needed. That is why Photography for Ukraine was renamed to Photography for Good. With the idea that we could start a campaign  whenever necessary.

In 2023, under the current name Photography for Good, €51,188 was raised for Giro555 for the victims of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

Mission
Photography for Good supports charities through the sale of photo prints. At the same time, we promote Dutch photography talent. Photographers, and other artists, are often asked to share their work without compensation – the exposure should be enough. But talent cannot grow this way. That is why we also offer participating photographers compensation. So that Photography for Good is not only a platform for charities, but also for photography talent.
